Quarter 1: Chiefs start with the ball. Reddick with a sack. The Chiefs go 3 and out in their first drive. Hurts sacked and now the Eagles with a 3 and out. Rainy game so it will be an interesting one. The Chiefs offense starting to pick up. Sweat Neutral Zone Infraction (7:56 left in Q1). Watson gets a TD and the Eagles defense continues to struggle. Hurts with a 20 yard pass to Smith. Eagles starting to drive down the field. Hurts to Smith for 11 more yards and now inside the KC 25. Swift with a strong run to get to the KC 4. TOUCHDOWN! Swift (31 seconds left in Q1). Eagles close the quarter by stopping the run.
Quarter 2: Eagles force a 3 and out. Aj Brown gets involved and goes for 8 yards. Jalen Hurts throws a pick after driving down the field. (11:59 left in Q2). Travis Kelce gets his first reception of the game for 7. Eagles defense struggling against the run with 81 rushing yards in the first half so far. Now the Eagles with a HUGE INTERCEPTION, Kevin Byard gets the pick in the end zone and takes a knee. Eagles with the ball on their 20 (6:45 left in Q2). Hurts gets sacked -7 yards. Another sack on Hurts. The Eagles go 3 and out after the Interception. Sweat offsides again and give the Chiefs a 3rd and 2. Pacheco with another big run of 12 to the PHI 25. Cox struggles to bring down Mahomes and he runs for 14 yards to PHI 11 (2min Warning). Mahomes to Kelce for a 4 yard TD (1:45 left in Q2). Hurts gets sacked loses the ball but recovers. Hurts gets tackled for no gain. Chiefs get the ball back on PHI 46 (42 seconds left in Q2). Really bad punt for the Eagles. Eagles defense allow a the Chiefs to convert on a 3rd and 15.
Halftime Thoughts: This team is struggling all around. They have allowed 121 Rushing yards in the 1st half. Hurts sacked 5 times. Aj Brown has 1 catch for 8 yards. The defense is struggling big time as they can’t stop the run or pass. Even Special Teams is struggling allowing Kadarius Toney to break off a nice return. The Offensive Line needs to step up as wells the Defensive Line. One thing the Eagles need to focus on is stopping the run Pacheco ran the ball 12 times for 66 yards. I just don’t know how you come out looking like this after your bye week.
Quarter 3: Eagles go 3 and out to start the half. This is absolutely horrible. Eagles defense finally gets a stop after Mahomes gets pressured and almost sacked. Swift makes a nice spin move to pickup 9 yards. Eagles force a run on 3rd and 1 and it gets stuffed. Very questionable call. Eagles Special Teams really struggling to tackle Kadarius Toney (8:59 left in Q3). Chiefs go 3 and out. Swift breaks a big run for 35 yards. Jalen Hurts up the middle for 10 yards for the TD. Eagles down by 3 (4:05 left in Q3). A lot of crucial penalties on the Eagles helping the Chiefs down the field. Eagles end the quarter by stopping A Pacheco run.
Quarter 4: Milton Williams injured but walks on his own power. Chiefs convert a 4th and 1. Travis Kelce fumbles on 10 and Eagles recover. Eagles go 3 and out after the Chiefs Fumble (11:38 left in Q4). Big 1st down for the Chiefs. Eagles force a punt (8:56 left in Q4). The Eagles really need a score this drive. Swift gets a big 20 yard run. Smith with a big 3rd down conversion. SMITH WITH A HUGE 41 yards reception to put the Eagles one the 1. Eagles with the tush push gives them their first lead of the game (6:20 left in Q4). Eagles force a 3 and out. Eagles offensive holding backs them up 10 yards for a 2nd and 22. Eagles punt. Huge Tackle from Jobe on special teams. Chiefs convert on 4th down, they go hurry up and get 13 and then a Roughing the Passer adds on 15 more. Chiefs on their own 49 (2min Warning). Intentional Grounding on the Chiefs back 4th and 25 with (1:35 left in Q4). A Huge throw from Mahomes incomplete and they Turnover on Downs. Eagles with some knees takes them to 9–1.
Postgame Thoughts: After the Eagles really ugly first half they came out and got 2 CDs and shutout the Chiefs in the second half. Travis Kelces fumble was huge for the Eagles. It was a very ugly game but the Eagles still found a way to pull out the Win. Hurts finishes with 150 passing yards, 12 rushes for 29 yards and 1 int and sacked 5 times. Swift had 12 rushes for 76 yards. Devonta Smith had a great game 6 catches for 99 yards. What really stands out is the Eagles Defense shutout the Chiefs in the second half after they scored 17 in the first half. This game was a very interesting game to say the least. The Eagles had a better rush defense but tonight they allowed 168 Rushing yards. Leading the rushing yards was Isiah Pacheco who finishes 19 rushes for 89 yards. This team always finds a way, next up the Buffalo Bills who are 6–5. The Eagles will be at home against the Bills who destroyed the Jets 32–6 but lost the prior week against the Broncos 24–22.
